I can't remember when, But one of my designer friends asked me to check and vote for his entry in HP and MTV's Global Design Competition. If you haven't heard about this so-called Global Design Competition, you can take a look and check the different entry designs here. I am sure the judges had a very hard time in choosing the winner.

Now, HP already picked the winner. "Asian Odyssey" by 20-year Joao Oliveira of Porto, Portugal won the contest. Don't tell me you're not impressed. Because this design turn heads and is a stand-out during the night of the launching. Ok, I was not there to witness it, but I have read several reviews about it from bloggers who attended the event. And I agree with the rest, this design is really a brilliant work of art. Besides, it won't won if it's not brilliant. :D

Recently, HP has launched the new HP Pavilion using the Asian Odyssey design. The HP Pavilion dv2800t Artist Edition series. The price starts at $999 which is not bad.
